Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinematography

In 1944, the Yerevan Institute of Theater and Cinema was founded. Famous figures of art and culture such as Haykuhi Gargash, Vardan Achemyan, Armen Gulakyan, Hrachya Ghaplanyan, Metaksya Simonyan, Srbuhi Lisitsyan, Luiza Samvelyan and other famous people taught at the institute.
The institute has a rich library with more than 44,000 books, films and videos. Training in the institute is carried out in specialized and streaming classrooms, studios, halls, cinema and video halls.
The Institute of Theater and Cinema has branches in Gyumri, Vanadzor and Goris.
